Marquis Majestic 175
Marquis is a unique force in the British
motorhome market – it is the largest
dealer group with 11 outlets and controls
a massive 15% of the new motorhome
market. It also sells almost 30% of all
new Peugeot-based motorhomes every
year, most of which are in the form of its
incredibly popular dealer specials.
This year it is introducing two new
dealer specials under the Majestic brand
– the 255 and the 275.
All Majestics are built by Elddis on
the newly facelifted Peugeot Boxer and
come with a 150bhp six-speed engine.
But it is the multi-award winning
Majestic 175 that is the star of Marquis’
2015 range. This model also benefits
from the new Peugeot cab and more
powerful engine, but it’s also been
extensively revised and improved.
The 175 has consistently been a best
seller for Marquis and for good reason –
it comes with a popular two-berth layout
that sees its large lounge convert easily
into an over-sized double bed.
The kitchen is spacious and well-
equipped with large fridge-freezer, full
oven and three-burner gas hob with
additional electric hotplate. At the rear,
the bathroom has a separate shower,
dressing area and storage in abundance.
All the new Majestics come with a
host of extras as standard. So you get
automatic cab air-con, Peugeot’s new
touchscreen digital radio interface and
automatic lights and wipers, while Elddis
has fitted an awning and reversing
camera and builds the Majestic with its
new GRP sides. You even get a 110Ah
leisure battery included. And, the new
Majestics all come with a 10-year body
integrity warranty as standard.
