fabulous site for an active holiday, with some pitches
overlooking Kielder Water, the largest man-made lake in
northern Europe. It’s a haven of peace and quiet with a range
of things to do including shing by bank and boat, walking and
cycling trails, birds of prey centre, adventure play areas, mini
golf, indoor pool and sauna, restaurant and bar, licensed shop,
ferry cruises, and many sporting activities. Despite this hive of
activity there’s marvellous quietude and abundant wildlife. Watch
carefully to see shy deer and even red squirrels. Activities are
subject to availability, and pre-booking is essential.
