Views is noted for its beauty. It’s also great for cycling and
walking, with lots of great trails nearby (Hadrian’s Cycleway
passes the entrance). Less than 10 minutes walk brings you
to a sandy beach, perfect for the family. The site o ers fully-
serviced hardstandings, together with a modern shower block.
Camping pods, complete with heating and re pits, were added
for 2013. Local shops are just over a mile away at Seascale, while
Ravenglass and Muncaster Castle are nearby. There’s a pub
within walking distance and an 18-hole golf course a mile away.

surrounded by stunning mountains. The Quiet Site is a family
run campsite situated in a secluded position among the stunning
fells that overlook Ullswater. Campsite facilities including an
excellent pub are housed in 18th-century buildings. There
are many beautiful walks you can start from here. It is ideally
positioned for touring both the north and south Lakes by car.
Numerous attractions are just a short drive away. The campsite is
easily accessible from the M6 motorway, with junction 40 being
