astlerigg Hall is one of Britain’s most
spectacularly scenic campsites,
set in the heart of the English Lake
District. Its elevated position
provides wonderful panoramic
views. The facilities are of a high
standard with under oor heating
to one of the toilet buildings,
privacy cubicles, laundry and a
bathroom. The park’s shop is well
stocked with fresh bread, milk, papers
and a wide range of other items. The
restaurant on site is popular and open six
days a week, serving locally sourced food,
and a gallery displaying local arts and crafts
is open most days. Castlerigg Hall is a pleasant
25-minute woodland walk to the centre of Keswick.
