CHANGING FACES 44 GORDON SUTTON, MANAGING DIRECTOR, JCI-HITACHI AIR CONDITIONING UK Gordon Sutton has been appointed Managing Director of JCI-Hitachi Air Conditioning UK. Gordon joined JCI-Hitachi at the beginning of November, following five years as Divisional Manager at refrigeration and air conditioning distributor Kooltech. He previously spent five years at Daikin UK, latterly as Northern Branch Director. He said: “I am very much looking forward to the challenge. JCI-Hitachi has some impressive equipment and innovative products. Damian Knapp moves from his previous position of Technical Administrator to Marketing & Comfort Club Co-ordinator, retaining responsibility for the administration of the Fujitsu rewards scheme. She will be responsible for driving sales growth via the wholesaler network across the north of England and Scotland. A key part of the role will be business development through daily work with installers and contractors, as well as gaining specification with end users for OPTMYA condensing units. Lizzie joins Danfoss Ltd from Beijer Ref, where she worked primarily with OEM development sales and gained much experience to date with Danfoss products. By working closely with Heat Pump OEMs, consultants, M&E, installer and driller/ groundworks, John has built a sound knowledge of the current market and the challenges it faces.
