The promotion returned for a second year in August 2019 and, over the course of five months, was open to any scheme members who installed Grant products and registered it via the G1 Portal or Click app. Each month, a prize draw took place which had 50 top prizes up for grabs, alongside a runners-up prize for all the remaining entries. The top prizes included branded workstation canopies, Red Letter driving experiences and branded Velocity Tech Cases all of which were popular prizes. The runner- up prizes varied each month, from plastic pipe cutters through to branded tote tool bags, so G1 members had the chance to win five diŠerent prizes if they registered each month. A new addition to the 2019 promotion was the ‘Big Holiday Superdraw’. Every G1 installer who registered a product during the promotional period was entered into this Superdraw with the winner being announced in early January. The prize was £5,000 of holiday vouchers and the lucky winner was Ryan Hosking of SOS Heating based in Cornwall. Ryan was thrilled to win this big prize and these vouchers will go towards a special 2020 holiday for him later in the year. CHILLY CHATTER 58 3,000 WINNERS IN GRANT PROMOTION Commercial and domestic air conditioning and refrigeration company Klimatech was named Small Business of the Year at the Mayor’s Business Awards in King’s Lynn. The awards, established in 1989, acknowledge the contribution that businesses make to the West Norfolk Economy. Klimatech won due to its “excellent customer service, employee relationships, outstanding products and services and determination to succeed’’. Director Colin Partridge said: “It’s more about the employees than it is myself. Without the determination of the employees we have, we wouldn’t be where we are, and local support has made us what we are.” In the past year, Klimatech has added six new vans with updated branding, introduced a new website, grown its social media presence and developed new premises which it designed and refitted itself. It has also been able to expand the workforce, adding another engineer and a part-time administrator to the team.
