Irish dealer o ers full Scotts range, as two new toppers prepared for 2021 launch SCOTTS Precision Manufacturing, which designs and manufactures vegetable cleaning and harvesting equipment, has added Quaile Machinery in Ireland to its dealer network. Operating from its headquarters in Co Dublin, Quaile Machinery will sell the full range of Trinity haulm toppers, Evolution separators, Microlift fully mounted windrowers, Windrower conversion kits and replacement wearing parts. It will also o er servicing and be the sole importer of Scotts’ spiral roller segments which are suitable for use on GRIMMEmachines. Established in 2012 by Kenny Quaile, the company currently represents Pottinger, Kubota, Scanstone, Dewulf and Deutz-Fahr. Following the banning of Diquat, Scotts has seen demand for its toppers double in the past year, 14 years after its rst topper, the Trinity 22B 2 row haulm topper, was made. e range now comprises the Trinity 6000 six-row folding topper, the Trinity 22 Bulb Speci c, the Trinity 30B which can work on three 36” rows or four 30” rows, the xed Trinity 36B four x 36” rows and the xed Trinity 54B 6 x 36” row version both with end tow kits. e two latest additions to the range - the Trinity 36B four-row topper and the Trinity 54B six-row topper - were recently put through their paces in Scotland and Lincolnshire ahead of a launch in early 2021. e Trinity 36B features dual drive and a split rotor with centre bearing and has been designed as an a ordable high output machine for growers with less than 300 acres. e Trinity 54B features the same style of drive and rotor as the 36B both come complete with road wheels and drawbar. Conversion kit for GRIMME harvester Scotts recently launched a conversion kit that allows owners of the GRIMME GT 170 trailed harvester to convert to a fully functioning windrower without modi cations to the host machine. Designed in response to local growers where the Grimme GT170 is their preferred choice of harvester, the Scotts GT170 Windrower conversion kit directly replaces the elevator module. As the kit is attached to the harvester through existing elevator xing points, there is no need to modify the host machine and this can be returned to its original set-up quickly. e kit, which costs £20,000, comes fully assembled with hydraulic hoses and cables for direct connection
