Skills www.thefis.org 9 Evidence of training all in one place MPP is a cloud-based vault to store, receive and share digital certificates that can provide evidence of achievement for all and any courses attended. The system includes a process for recording work experience and so it is ideal for organisations that rely on a labour only subcontract workforce, as it ensures that an individual can quickly provide verifiable proof of competence that includes experience. How it works MPP is: • uniquely suited to training providers to optimise business operations and save money; • a platform to support employers and public sector organisations to promote skills and track development; • capable of seamlessly complementing and supporting existing business management software; and • entirely secure cloud-based system to ensure automatic updates and increased reliability. In brief, the system allows individuals to upload their current achievements, qualification certificates, attendance records, CSCS cards and anything they feel will support proof of competence and show the experience they have. Once registered, attendance at training and events organised by or notified to MPP will automatically generate a certificate that goes into the individual record and an electronic copy is sent by email. Organisations that subscribe to MPP can ask individual’s for permission to access their records via the system. Once permission is given the organisation can view the individual’s records and search for people with specific skills and experience. Individuals can give access to numerous organisations and can withdraw access at any time. Organisations can create events (such as site inductions, seminars, manufacturer training etc) and invite individuals to attend. Individuals can then ask organisations they work for to issue certificates of work experience (such as installations completed etc) these certificates will be endorsed and signed by the site manager and/or supervisor and/or coach and mentor.
