7 PROJECT OF THE YEAR - UNDER £1M Veitchi Interiors (CONTINUED) veitchi.com THE JUDGES SAID: Veitchi Interiors completed this fit out of a brand-new laboratory building with offices for Diageo. The package included SAS ceilings, MF ceilings, drywall, acoustic glazed partitions, a variety of specialist joinery and several high-level acoustic solutions including bespoke fabric and timber rafts with integrated baffles that were constructed on site. The mixed scope of elements was well balanced and created a comfortable and inviting office space on the first floor with exceptionally managed acoustics, and clean and functional laboratory spaces on the ground floor all finished to a very high standard. The project showed a clear understanding of the requirements of the client and included significant collaboration with a complicated M&E scheme demanded by a laboratory environment.
