5 PROJECT OF THE YEAR - OVER £1M Linear Projects (CONTINUED) linearuk.com THE JUDGES SAID: Linear Projects delivered this very large scope of works for the award-winning Glasgow University expansion that included SFS, drylining, MF ceilings and bulkheads, metal ceilings, multiple types of Ecophon baffles and rafts, GRG column encasements, doorsets, washrooms and more. Most of these elements of works carried some level of design liability, and many of them were very complex in both the nature of the design, but also in terms of the logistics and sequencing of the installation. Despite the complexity of the install and the challenges on site, the quality of all the finishes was impeccable throughout. It is evident that Linear Projects managed the tender, design, and delivery stages of this contract with a high level of proficiency and professionalism. The building received BREEAM excellent, and the assorted elements in the package will have contributed significantly to the necessary scoring criteria for this level of attainment.
