2 “As we now come out of the pandemic and the turmoil of the last couple of years, wewould like to acknowledge the pleasure and enthusiasmyou have demonstrated in showcasing your work to us, withmany of the projects judged either being completed, or worked on during this difficult period. We appreciate and understand the hard work and dedication that has been poured into each project, especially with the ever-increasing pressure put on programmes and budgets, but still managing tomaintain a high standard of quality. This year produced such a wide variety of projects ranging from the Balfour NHS hospital in the Orkney Isles, the Scottish Sea Farms offices in Oban, to the £1 billion re-development of St James’ Quarter Edinburgh. All of which, including the entrants not mentioned, were a pleasure to judge.
