Collaboration can look very different from utilising the knowledge, skills and passion you have in your existing team to working with another business and sharing skills, labour and materials. By focusing on the same goals, success will be more achievable and challenges will be overcome. This is evident in this issue as we talk to three FIS members who attended a fully-funded, 10-week Net Zero Together Bootcamp at the University of Birmingham. The Bootcamp was to demystify Net Zero for employees and create and implement a collaborative sustainability plan for their business. Read more on page 24. On page 12 we hear an extremely concerning warning from the British Safety Industry Federation (BSIF) regarding non-compliant Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safety equipment. They tell you what you MUST look out for. On page 20 we take a look at digital innovation, which is on an upward surge, and how this is proving to be a vital solution to solving problems and contributing to demonstrable improvements in competence, efficiency, process, quality outcomes, staff motivation and retention.
