15 Delivering the partitions and ceilings for this project at the prestigious ICCWat Celtic Manor near Newport involved challenges that went far beyond conventional drywall work. These included exceptional working heights and architectural detailing. The challenges were exacerbated by the demanding performance requirements of this multi-function building and the overlapping design and construction schedule. This, coupled with an accelerated programme and exceptional access requirements, called for maximum co-ordination with the preceding and following trades, which sometimes involved working in split shifts and in conjunction with all parties simultaneously.
