20 This project, using a light gauge steel framing (LGSF) system, involved extensive planning. All materials were pre-loaded into plots before any installation commenced, and all works were built to a ‘right first time’ approach, with robust quality management systems in place. Cheshire Ceilings and Partitions came up with a simple yet effective detail to protect the topping down works fromwater ingress, resulting in an earlier start date and reduced programme time. Its overall scope of works included internal partitions, MF ceilings, drylining and tape and jointing.
