17 Manchester-based contractor Blygyp was responsible for installing drylining to meet some testing acoustic requirements for the eye- catching 400-seat Tung Auditorium in the new Yoko Ono Lennon Centre. The centre is now home to the University of Liverpool’s arts and humanities school, and the auditoriumwill be used for public performances and has capacity for a 70-piece orchestra. As well as drylining, Bluegyp completed the installation of the steel-frame system,suspended ceilings and interior finishes to the building, including partitions, suspended ceilings, plastering and firestopping.
