The site overlooks the town and has a public playpark next to it; there is an 18-hole golf course nearby. There are lovely walks behind the park in Barrhill Woods. Silvercraigs is now under the ownership of a development trust that aims to raise funds for local projects and activities. The park has been upgraded to include 16A hook-ups, heated toilets and showers and free WiFi.
