Allow to dry. Use the 13mm (½in) Round bristle brush to stipple on a stronger mix. 2 Colour: Hooker’s green Brush: 13mm (½in) Round bristle brush Notes: Stipple Hooker’s green among the bluebells, suggesting grasses and undergrowth. Stipple and flick up grasses with Hooker’s green along the bottom of the fence. 3 Colour: Hooker’s green Brush: No. 8 Round brush Notes: Darken the area around the church. 4 Colour: Warm grey (a pale mix of burnt umber with a touch of cobalt blue) Brush: 13mm (½in.) Round bristle brush, No. 8 Round brush Notes: With the 13mm (½in.) Round bristle brush, stipple a little texture onto the church with a pale mix. Add more cobalt blue to the mix and use the No. 8 Round brush to add shadows and define edges. 5 Colour: Burnt sienna, cobalt blue Brush: No. 4 Round brush Notes : Paint the roofs with burnt sienna, then drop in a mix of cobalt blue and burnt sienna while this is wet. 6 Colour: Burnt umber Brush: No. 4 Round brush Notes: Paint the shed beside the church with a pale mix, then paint the roof and right- hand side with a strong mix. Use this same mix to paint the architectural details of the church.
