The stile and signpost guide you towards the church, and the footpath leads you in. You will need • Watercolour French ultramarine, burnt umber, raw sienna, green gold, Hooker’s green, cobalt blue, olive green, permanent rose • Brushes 2.5cm (1in.) wash brush; 13mm (½in.) Round bristle brush; Rounds Nos. 12, 8 & 4; and No. 6 Rigger • Masking tape and board • Primer (optional) • Masking fluid, masking fluid brush and ruling pen • Paper mask  Your reference drawing for this project  The finished painting
