28 Winter 2022 GOLF DAY E ight teams of golfers arrived at The Nottinghamshire Golf & Country Club, Cotgrave, to compete for numerous prizes and trophies at the HAE EHA Golf Day. The event, now in its ninth year, welcomed more than 30 players to the course set in the countryside just east of Nottingham. Despite several days of storms and rain in the run- up to the event, conditions turned dry and very sunny on the day. The venue offers two golfing experiences, The Signature Course and the more difficult, Championship Course, the latter of which the teams competed on. Set amid numerous lakes and waterways and with not much level ground, this made play challenging, but the teams all reported enjoyable rounds of golf. The day concluded with an evening meal and prize-giving ceremony followed by socialising and networking, with many participants staying overnight at the venue.
