Autumn/Winter 2021 29 SAVE THE DATE! Executive Hire Roadshow West & Wales Roadshow returns. I t’s fair to say that equipment manufacturers and would-be purchasers haven’t enjoyed many in-person opportunities to interact over the last 18 months. The entire purpose of Executive Hire Roadshows has always been to provide a lively forum for business relationships to prosper, for industry colleagues to meet and greet and for lucrative deals to get done. Now there is finally a chink of light at the end of the tunnel with two events added to the calendar in the latter part of 2021. e rst of these took place on October 19th, while the second, e West & Wales Roadshow, will be held at Bristol’s Holiday Inn, BS16 1QX, on December 1st. e intention is to dispense with some of the formalities this time around, all in the name of kick-starting the commerce. However, the buzz has already begun, with much interest on the ground and high-pro le companies clamouring to showcase their wares. As before, the show will be welcoming regional hirers of all sizes and major manufacturers will be in attendance. In both instances, tempting roadshow-only deals will be announced on the day. e safety of roadshow visitors and exhibitors will be a top priority. Updated guidelines have recently been announced and both events are being run in line with the latest local, national government and public health advice.
