The property, which is made up of 6 bedrooms, features underfloor heating throughout the entire ground floor with convector style radiators throughout the first & second floors of the property. The system features Stiebel Eltron’s WPL25 AS air to water heat pump, combined with a glass lined Stiebel Eltron unvented cylinder and classic bu…er vessel, providing hydraulic separation between the underfloor heating and radiator circuits within each apartment. The air-water heat pump boasts an energy e ciency rating of A+++ and was also chosen due to its higher peak flow temperatures, which can reach over 65°C for colder days and months. Stiebel Eltron and New Heat Solutions completed the project in five months and as part of the handover process for residents, provided a thorough, yet easy-to-understand tutorial of the low-carbon heating system. We have estimated that that the homeowner will save around £260 annually on their energy bills compared to if they would have elected to use a fossil fuel system, whilst having a low carbon system which is better for our environment and future proofs this beautiful residence.
