Located in Windsor Locks, Connecticut, the new production facility and o ce space enables Hydratech to introduce their products and services to the American RAC, HVAC and renewables markets, as well as developing their existing relationships with the likes of Coca-Cola, PepsiCo, Papa John’s and Haribo. Lou Frankland, managing director, said: “To help assist with the recent rise in living costs, the board of directors have made the decision to award all sta a £2,500 per year pay rise. "The pay rise is e ective from 1st August 2022, applicable to all sta members serving longer than 12 weeks and is not a ected by any recent pay reviews. TOSHIBA ANNOUNCES SHRM ADVANCE VRF ON R32 Toshiba has unveiled the latest generation of its award-winning VRF air conditioning system, which operates on the lower GWP refrigerant R32. The use of R32 and a reduced refrigerant charge is said to enable SHRM Advance to deliver a reduction of up 80%* in equivalent carbon emissions when compared to a similarly sized R410A system. It features a more compact chassis, lower noise levels, the ability to choose between three-pipe heat recovery and two-pipe heat pump operation, together with safety features including an integrated leak detection and shut-o valve system. SHRM Advance is available in 8-24HP capacity units and is designed to enable o ce buildings, large shops and restaurants, healthcare facilities, and educational establishments to achieve class-leading sustainability credentials, while also reducing running costs. *Precise percentage will depend on the system design for each installation.
