As the refrigerants we use, change, so does the way in which we have to work with them. We have to increase our knowledge about system impact, useability and safe handling as we move especially towards high operating pressures and increasing flammability. In this edition we see features from Beijer Ref and Euroklimat highlighting the use of alternative refrigerants, and in addition, a review from BESA’s Graeme Fox about the inclusion of natural refrigerants within future regulations. Among the key events that are just around the corner is the RACHPskills final which is being held at Barking and Dagenham College from 16 – 18 November. A huge congratulations to all those that have made it as finalists and the best of luck to everyone taking part. Furthermore, Chillventa is just a couple of weeks away - a welcome return back onto the HVACR calendar. ACR Journal and Heat Pumps Today will be there, so if you would like to say hello and catch up then please let us know. I hope you enjoy this edition, Andy REGULARS 4. News Key industry updates 10.
