Giordano Riello, Aermec’s founder, CEO Alessandro Riello and Vice President Ra aella Riello, and the managers of Giordano Riello International Group and the new group of Aermec researchers were all present at the o cial opening ceremony. Professor Federico Faggin, the renowned physicist and inventor who developed the first commercial microprocessor and touch-screen technology, was the guest of honour and along with Giordano Riello opened the new facility. Giordano Riello and Federico Faggin emphasised the importance of continuous research that looks beyond the daily horizon towards not only the evaluation of new technologies and new ways of resolving problems, but also how to face the latest global challenges, especially those regarding energy and its environmental impact. The Royal Warrant is granted to a company that has supplied goods or services to the households of HM The Queen or HRH The Prince Of Wales for a minimum of five years. It empowers the holder to display the designated Royal Arms in connection with the business, and is recognised across the world. The multi-award winning monitoring solutions division designs and manufactures wireless environmental monitoring equipment in the UK for the heritage, pharmaceutical, healthcare and food and beverage sectors. Without a doubt, it’s one of the proudest and most significant milestones in our company’s history.” OFFICIAL OPENING FOR PANASONIC'S NEWUK HOME HVAC&R manufacturer Panasonic has announced the opening of its new UK headquarters in Welwyn Garden City, a move that is said to allow the continuation of technical support and customer service from a dedicated modern space that holds the organisation's largest UK training facility. Panasonic's heating, cooling and refrigeration sta attended an Opening Ceremony on May 6, where Panasonic's Enrique Vilamitjana, managing director of Panasonic Heating & Cooling Solutions Europe, o cially declared the premises open. Jose Manuel Alves, UK country manager for Panasonic, commented: "We are thrilled with our new dedicated HVAC&R+ modern premises, intelligently designed to provide an advanced technological space for the needs of both our heating and cooling teams. In addition to providing our customers with full access to our technical resources, including the in-house spec team expertise and software, technical support, design software tools and smart cloud service solutions, we will be providing training courses and a valuable location for meetings." The team will continue to provide technical support and customer service to distributors, consultants, installers and end- users of Panasonic's wide range of solutions for heating, cooling, refrigeration and ventilation. The new premises follows the recent announcement of the amalgamation of Panasonic and AMP and the formation of the new UK HVAC&R+ company, PHVAC Ltd (Panasonic Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Ltd).
