Since my last column, the Institute of Refrigeration has held its annual dinner in London, to which I was fortunate enough to receive an invitation. The president's speech highlighted a need to collaborate with other associations and institutions in related sectors for a stronger voice and greater promotional success. So we're pleased to include a feature highlighting the dinner, and the winners of the IOR awards. Congratulations to all. We also feature summaries from two papers presented at the IOR annual conference; from London South Bank University’s Catarina Marques and Conor Eaton-Smith of K2 Engineering. Elsewhere, RACHPskills winner Luke Haile, from Lightfoot Defence, showcases his talents away from refrigeration, and Herpreet Panesar of Samsung Climate Solutions is the latest subject of our Women in ACR feature. I hope you enjoy this issue. Andy 4. News Key industry updates 13. Hydratech Helping cold chain businesses achieve their e ciency and sustainability objectives 19. Tools Talk 26.
