The insights gained from training as part of this global network helps raise standards across the UK Juliet Loiselle, Publisher of ACR Journal and Heat Pumps Today says “we are delighted to be working with industry and WorldSkillsUK on the competitions program for 2022” Fujitsu headline sponsor of RACHPskills UK Fujitsu has become a headline sponsor of the 2022 RACHPskills UK competition, which develops apprentices by testing and assessing their skills against their peers through national and international competition-based training programmes. Part of the WorldSkills UK (WSUK) portfolio of technical skills competitions, RACHPskills UK organises competitions for apprentices in the air conditioning, heat pump and refrigeration industries, testing their knowledge, skills and behaviours. Fujitsu is headline sponsor for the air conditioning and heat pump categories. Chief operating officer Ian Carroll said: Registration is open from February 28-April 1 and entrants will be invited to attend one of the following National Qualifiers: ° April 26 - Eastleigh College ° April 27 - Bath college ° May 12 - Cardiff & Vale College ° May 17 - Grimsby Institute ° May 18 - Practical Refrigeration Training Centre, Burnley ° May 24 - Glasgow Kelvin College Finalists will be announced on September 19, followed by training and development events during October and the National Finals in November. Following the National Finals – and a separate medal ceremony for the winners of each competition – eligible participants will be invited to join Squad UK, where they have a chance to represent the UK at WorldSkills Lyon in 2024. Fujitsu has become the headline sponsor of the 2022 RACHPskills UK competition, which is being organised by the publishers of ACR Journal and Heat Pumps Today. “Fujitsu is a forward-thinking company and we are delighted to be supporting an initiative which will help encourage the next generation of engineers.
