Chairman of the Fan Manufacturers Association since 2016, Alan is a fan engineer with a 41 year career in the ventilation industry, having broad experience in residential, commercial, industrial, mining and AHU sectors. He is actively involved in standards being a member of MCE/017 (Fans), ISO/TC117 (Fans) and FSH/025-05 (Smoke fan working group). As a member of the Federation of Environmental Trade Associations (FETA), HEVAC seeks to be a pro-active association collaborating with similar industry groups and government departments to strengthen sustainability as an essential component of resource efficiency. Reporting to the FIDIC chief executive officer and with accountability to the FCLmanagement board and associated governance committees, as General Manager of FCL, Totsikas will oversee and be responsible for all key areas of the credentialing company’s operations including governance, programme delivery, accreditation standards and business development.
