She brings 20 years of industry experience to the role in which she will be responsible, alongside other committee members, for making key decisions on behalf of association members. Over the years the BCIA has been a voice for the industry and has been instrumental in raising standards. Claire brings 35 years’ experience, having held positions within the NHS and consultancies, including involvement in a prestigious new build private hospital in London alongside us. As a healthcare sector lead, Claire’s core responsibilities include lead generation and winning bids, as well as authoring the healthcare sector business and action plan that is developed in conjunction with national directors and strategic development teams. www.pickeverard.co.uk Engineering design firm sets its sight on European expansion following key appointments Black andWhite Engineering (B&W), with offices around the globe, has announced the appointment of Scott Wilson as the UK and Europe regional head of sustainability, and three technical directors, Charlie Bater, Karl Snowball, and Grant Dalgleish, who were previously associate directors, and two new associate directors, Jonathan Robinson-Hoare and Craig England, who step up from principal engineer roles. In the last 12 months, the consultancy has grown its UK and Europe headcount by 83%, and now employs a number of specialists across the UK with offices in Newcastle, Edinburgh, and London. www.bw-engineering.com Swegon strengthens its organization with several senior recruitments Swegon, leading provider of products and services for a healthy indoor climate, strengthens its organization with a number of experienced leaders who will hold key positions in both production, sales and business development. Eva Karlsson is appointed Vice President for the largest business area the business area Air Handling, Cooling & Heating. Eva will be part of the Group Executive Committee at Swegon Group and will do her first day in August. Caroline Lilja is as of June 1st Operations Director of our business unit Air Handling Units, which includes our largest production plant in Kvänum and the plant in Gembloux, Belgium, where ventilation units are manufactured. Carl-Johan Strömwall will start in August as Director of Aftersales and Services responsible for the business development of aftermarket services and new digital services. Anna Månsson will return to us as Business Development Manager to work within the Business Area RoomUnits. Anna will work with acquisitions, marketing, competence, and finding new business opportunities in the roomproducts segment.
