MODERN BUILDING SERVICES JULY/AU GUST 2021 11 PEOPLE PEOPLE Four new contract management appointments have been announced at Lancashire based building services engineering specialist, Ameon. Former Ameon contract managers, GrahamMurphy and Dave Scott have been promoted to the posts of principal contract managers, while James Higham and Tom Scott both become contract managers; having formerly held positions as project managers with the company. Principal contract manager, GrahamMurphy, 62, of Thornton Cleveleys, joined the company in 1996 as a pipe fitter and worked in site supervision and project management roles prior to his appointment as contract manager: a position he held for 20 years. Dave Scott, 52, of Cleveleys, served his apprenticeship as an electrician with a regional contractor before joining Ameon. James Higham, 36, joined Ameon as a project manager, in 2016 and was appointed senior project manager in 2019 Great Eccleston resident, TomScott, 33, joined Ameon in 2011 as an electrician, having served his apprenticeship with another regional contractor. Lochinvar was able to retain and add to its staff through the lockdown periods This year it has already added Marketing Specialist - Richard Reid, Technical Support Manager - Will Griffiths, Customer Service Assistant - Sara Nevett and Trainee Internal Sales Assistant - Natalie Hands to help deal with growing demand. All of this follows the creation of two Senior Regional Sales Manager roles in 2019, with Dave Slevin and Scott Mason taking these new positions. It also appointed two new Area Sales Managers: Dean Thornton to cover London, West Sussex and Surrey andWill Brook for the SouthWest of England. Harry Ellis and Ethan Gregory have joined the company’s Warehouse and International teams.
