Stacey has been a member of the BCIA’s Management Committee since January and replaces Paul Wetherfield who stepped down from the role in September. Stacey began her career at Sontay in 2001 when she joined the company as a Customer Service Advisor. By working her way up through Customer Service and Sales, she has built long-lasting relationships withmany of Sontay’s customers. The knowledge and insight learned in these years have given Stacey a fantastic knowledge base and a high level of technical understanding of the building controls industry which is of great benefit to the evolvement of the BCIA and its members. www.bcia.co.uk Chord Consult gain quartet of senior engineers as business booms Nottingham-based mechanical and engineering (M&E) consultancy firm Chord Consult has added four new engineers to its ranks, in direct response to an influx of business from new and long-standing clients. The four new employees joining the team are Harry Stannard and Ryan Gibson as senior mechanical engineers, Fred Stannard as mechanical associate, and Alex Skidmore as electrical director. These key members will offer a technical boost to the four founding company directors and the seven members of staff who have joined since Chord began trading on 1 June. Chalk joins the firm from the construction engineering company Hoare Lea with 20 years of experience in the industry and region. Previously National Sales Director for Wolseley Pipe and Climate, he will take control of the day-to-day running of J S Wright and its sister company Wright Maintenance following Phil Leech’s move to Chairman.
