Harriet will be responsible for accelerating the company’s growth in heat pumps in the UK & Ireland and ensuring Baxi drives the energy transition with end- to-end solutions for all its residential and commercial customers, including products, services and aftersales. Harriet arrives at the company with 30 years of sales experience in the heating and cooling industry, most recently as Sales Director for the Mitsubishi Heavy Industries/Beijer Ref collaboration. www.baxi.co.uk BPMAwelcomes its newPresident Dale Croker, Managing Director of KSB UK Ltd has been announced as the new President of the British Pump Manufacturers Association (BPMA), following a two-year tenure in the role of Vice President. The position was officially passed on during the BPMA’s recent Annual General Meeting and follows an extended four-year term in office by the previous President, Richard Harden of Stuart Turner Ltd. Traditionally the role has a two-year tenancy, but given the disruption caused by the pandemic, Richard had very graciously agreed to stay in the role for a second term by way of both experience and stability. As his successor Dale has had the benefit of shadowing Richard whilst in the office of Vice President, and is now well prepared and fully conversant with all this is required of him as BPMA President. www.bpma.org.uk Chris Johnson joins Viessmann’s UK leadership team Viessmann has appointed Chris Johnson as UK Director of Sales, based at the company’s Telford headquarters. In what is a new senior organisational position reporting to Managing Director Graham Russell, Chris will oversee Viessmann’s complete UK sales operation, covering domestic and commercial sales of all products and services within the company’s Climate Solutions division. Chris has previously held sales and business development leadership positions at Vaillant, Stiebel Eltron and Plumbing Trade Supplies (PTS). With his most recent role as National Sales Director – Heat Pumps & Renewables at Vaillant, he brings highly relevant experience as Viessmann expands and grows its penetration of the heat pump market with its Vitocal range of heat pumps. www.viessmann.co.uk Spirotech bolsters its sales support team Spirotech hasmade two newappointments within its sales support team, further strengthening the service provided to its customers. Stuart Brown joins the team as Technical Sales Support Representative. Since completing his engineering apprenticeship, Stuart has built his career in technical roles, most recently at UK Building Compliance where he spent three years helping to improve the efficiency of buildings for customers. In his new role, Stuart is responsible for creating a seamless experience for Spirotech customers, thereby helping to ensure smooth sales team operations. This includes providing support to the Sales Teamwith technical issues that arise on a day-to-day basis. Meanwhile, Neetu Ubbey joins as Senior Sales Support Representative. Pasha will lead the division’s services in EMEA, helping clients to manage extreme energy volatility in the region against the backdrop of broader sustainability legislation and stakeholder pressures. Pasha steps into this role at a critical time. Deane is a familiar face in the refrigeration and air conditioning industry having formerly been employed as UK Managing Director of Mitsubishi Electric and Commercial Director of Coolair Equipment.
