84 www.theisba.org.uk HEADLINE PARTNER Case study St George’s Weybridge Home to nearly 1100 pupils, the co-educational independent school approached McArdle Sport Tec after discovering we had refurbished the bespoke HMS Temeraire hockey pitch through a chance encounter whilst passing the site on a train travelling to Brighton. Following negotiations, we were delighted to be appointed to carry out the refurbishment and resurfacing works to the main hockey pitch, which is also home to the Premier League hockey club, Old Georgians. The client requested a bespoke maroon coloured surround to comply with their brand guidelines. Working with artificial carpet manufacturers TigerTurf, our team created the bespoke coloured yarn to create these iconic and one of a kind run off areas with the addition of the school’s logo. “We have been delighted to work with McArdle Sport Tec on the refurbishment of our main hockey pitch at St George’s College.
