A chartered surveyor, Robert has significant expertise in this sector and has provided quantity surveying services for many years for a number of prestigious schools including Cranleigh School, Tonbridge School, Bradfield College and Worth School amongst others. He has experience of a wide range of buildings including science buildings, new schools, libraries, multi-purpose halls, performing arts centres, music facilities, sports and media centres, boarding houses, academic centres, design and technology facilities as well as providing comprehensive cost advice on Masterplans. Duncan Ball – managing partner Duncan is a chartered quantity surveyor and also recently became managing partner of our practice. He has more than 30 years of construction knowledge and in addition to his experience in the education sector he is skilled in the conservation, restoration and refurbishment of historic buildings, ranging from cathedrals, country houses and town houses to humble cottages. Duncan’s impressive client list includes Bath Abbey, National Trust and Blundell’s School. Duncan is also the retained Quantity Surveyor at St Paul’s Cathedral. Paul Grinham – partner Paul is responsible for overseeing the project management at Synergy. Offering more than 30 years’ experience, Paul has project managed new build, regeneration, conservation and refurbishment projects for both the public and private sectors, especially in education, commercial, ecclesiastical, leisure and retail. He has gained a tremendous reputation in the independent education sector. Paul has worked on numerous projects including the new sixth form building at Worth School and the complex science centre extension at Tonbridge School. Jenny Howard – associate Jenny has been with the business for nine years and is responsible for marketing and business development. She has a passion for the construction industry and has a civil engineering degree and was also a structural engineer for six years. When she is not supporting her colleagues with tender submissions or posting updates on LinkedIn, she is researching the internet for the very best ISBA giveaway.
