54 www.theisba.org.uk Stand 78 HEADLINE PARTNER Getting back to the exhibiting hall is something we have been really looking forward to and we are very excited to be meeting everyone face-to-face again. The Conference is a very special event on the calendar and is an opportunity to meet both existing and new school clients, present our latest work in the independent education sector, support delegates with expert advice and, of course, share this year’s much sought- after ISBA gift! And we really do have lots of exciting projects to share. The past year has been busy, with our team of cost consultants, building surveyors and project managers supporting our independent school clients with a vast range of innovative projects with many now brought to life and being enjoyed by staff and pupils. Recent highlights have included the transformation of the music school at Bradfield College, the striking new sixth form centre at Worth School, Ryde School’s impressive boarding accommodation and Cokethorpe School’s fantastic new changing pavilion. And we were also thrilled to hear that the spectacular refurbishment and extension of The Barton Science Centre at Tonbridge School received a regional RIBA South East Award 2021 and the new sports hall and swimming pool at Kings College School, Wimbledon won a 2021 RIBA London Award! As well as supporting with building projects, Synergy has also been working hard with many school clients to develop and safeguard their existing school estates. This has included planned preventative maintenance, Party Wall advice, feasibility studies, fire insurance valuations and strategic masterplanning assistance to name just a few areas of bespoke support.
