It has continually existed for almost six hundred years; receiving a Royal Charter in this time and moving premises three times. In September 2020, we were appointed to build a new Sports Campus Building. The facility compliments a new 3G sports pitch and includes a fitness suite, mind & body zone and a sports technology laboratory. LIFE Build have been a fantastic contractor to work with throughout our project. It wasn’t a straightforward site but LIFE Build found good solutions to all of the site challenges.” Royal Latin school “ HABERDASHERS’ ASKE’S SCHOOL FOR GIRLS ELSTREE Haberdashers’ Aske’s School for Girls is a leading independent day school for girls aged 4-18 and their academic results place them amongst the highest ranked schools in the UK. The project involved the demolition of an existing three storey corner block with adjacent plant room together with link corridors to Blocks B and D. This was followed by the construction of a new five storey block including a contiguous piled basement with waterproof concrete that serves as the plantroom for Blocks B, D and the new STEM Building. The upper floors provide new science laboratories, seminar rooms, toilets and a locker area. On time and on budget, LIFE Build successfully planned their building programme so as to minimise the impact on daily school life.
