Synergy has advised their independent school clients on a diverse range of projects from refurbishments and extensions through to the construction of a variety of new buildings. Some of these recent projects include the stunning new science centre at Tonbridge School, the impressive academic centre at Cranleigh School, the multi-phased extension at Town Close School and Sevenoaks School’s striking new science and technology and global study centre. Synergy was a finalist in the Construction Consultant/Surveyor of the Year (fewer than 100 employees) category at the 2018 Building Awards, which was an honour and echoes welcoming both existing and new clients to their stand where they will be on hand to provide on-the-spot advice on forthcoming building and maintenance projects. Attending conference this year will be: ROBERT BUCKLEY – partner Robert has more than 30 years’ experience in the construction industry and leads Synergy’s independent education team. Robert has significant expertise in the sector and has provided quantity surveying services for many years for a number of prestigious schools including Cranleigh School, Tonbridge School, Bradfield College and Worksop College amongst many others. He has experience of a wide range of buildings including science buildings, new junior schools, libraries, multi-purpose halls, PACs, sports and media centres, boarding houses, academic centres, design and technology schools as well as providing comprehensive cost advice on masterplans. Away from the office, Rob volunteers as a scout leader and on the odd occasion when he is not with a client, in the office or at the scout hut, you will find him fly fishing on the river bank. Synergy is a multi-disciplinary construction consultancy providing cost consultancy, project management, building surveying and specialist consultancy services. Education is a specialist sector in which they work and represents around 60 percent of the company’s turnover.
