ASSOCIATION OF GOVERNING BODIES OF INDEPENDENT SCHOOLS AGBIS Andy Robinson, training secretary www.agbis.org.uk AGBIS provides guidance, training and consultancy services to its member schools and speaks for them on matters relating to governance. A key strategic objective is to effect concurrent digital communication with the member school and its governors. The association wishes to work with clerks in achieving this aim. Andy Robinson will be manning the stand throughout conference and will be happy to discuss governance issues and the training needs of your governing body. ASSOCIATION OF SCHOOL AND COLLEGE LEADERS ASCL Barbara Stanley, independent specialist www.ascl.org.uk The Association of School and College Leaders (ASCL) is a leading professional body representing more than 18,000 school, college and system leaders across the UK. ASCL works to shape national education policy, provide advice and support to members and deliver first class professional development across the sector.
