47 CHANGING FACES JACINTA CADEN, GARY TINKLER USYSTEMS USystems has appointed Jacinta Caden as Technical Director and Gary Tinkler as Global Commercial Director. Jacinta has been in the RAC industry for 17 years while Gary has spent 23 years as a data centre professional. USystems innovates, develops and manufactures cooling, cabinet and containment solutions for the data centre and micro data centre market. In 2003 it introduced the ColdLogik range which has revolutionised the possibilities for their clients who are continually pressed on operating more efficiently. He brings with him over 20 years of financial experience and a history of providing commercially focused information to a wide range of business stakeholders across several industries. He joins TEV from Alliance Automotive UK, where he was Group Finance Controller for over five years. Prior to that, he held senior finance roles with InterContinental Brands and Freemans Grattan Holdings. Julian will take lead responsibility for the day to day management of the UK finance function, including monthly reporting to the board. Atkinson is a FellowMember of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and holds a Master’s in Business Administration from Leeds University. Fox, who has been head of F-Gas certification body REFCOM, said he was delighted to be taking up his new position “at an exciting time for the industry”. He added: “The building services sector is facing multiple challenges on several fronts including achieving our low carbon commitments against a background of increased demands for proof of competency and compliance prompted by the Hackitt Review.'' A chartered engineer with over 30 years’ experience of building services engineering., he has particular expertise in air conditioning, heat pumps, and small commercial refrigeration after running his own contracting business for more than 25 years. He is a former President of AREA – the European association of refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pump contractors – and previously served as a member of BESA Council. He is also currently a Director of ACRIB and of the Institute of Refrigeration.
