The previous units installed at the Cumberland Building Society needed to be removed as they did not provide even temperatures and air flow across the o›ce space. Air conditioning supplier Refrigeration Mitton was asked to provide a system that ensured a comfortable air temperature, reduced draughts and increased air flow across the o›ce. Alex Mitton, Director at Refrigeration Mitton, said: “The project was to supply new systems to o›ce areas that were being taken over and refurbished by the building society. There were existing systems to remove that were large wall-mounted units but would not provide even temperatures and air flow across the o›ce space. “We selected the Split Wind-Free Cassette systems to achieve draught-free comfort.
