Andy Burt joined as Southern Regional Sales Manager, Andy Burrows as Northern Regional Sales Manager and Ian Press as Sales Account Manager. All three were previously at Mitsubishi Electric. They were then followed by Joseph O’Connor , Sales Account Manager for London and Southeast, and Matthew Westwood , Consultant Sales Manager for the Midlands. Press spent 15 years with his previous company, dealing with contractor and consultant sales in East Anglia, and has 30 years’ experience in the industry. Burrows also looked after contractor sales in the north, while Burt spent 16 years at Mitsubishi Electric, with his most recent role being Branch Manager at Hatfield, managing sales, technical and operations. O’Connor arrived after nine years in the climate solutions industry, most recently as Area Sales Manager for Wolseley UK, where he was responsible for air conditioning and refrigeration contractor sales for the south. He takes over from Jon Belfield, who has held the role for the past two years. Sharp has worked in the controls industry for over 35 years and is anAssociate at NDAConsulting, the specialist BEMS and energy consultancy practice. His previous experience includes UK and European leadership roles at JohnsonControls, Sontay and Satchwell Control Systems. After re-joining the BCIA Management Committee in 2017, hewas appointed Vice- President of the BCIA in January 2019. He said: “I amextremely proud to take on this challenging but rewarding role. He has worked for Airedale for nearly 30 years and currently heads up Airedale’s dedicated export sales team, responsible for successfully exporting Airedale products made in Leeds to over 60 countries worldwide. One region of particular focus for Airedale in recent years has been the Middle East and since, the opening of its sales office in Dubai in 2014, says it has seen a wealth of opportunities for growth, particularly in data centres, which Eurovent Middle East continue to support. He said: “At Airedale we have recognised that certain geographical areas operate not only in different climate conditions, but also with different legislation. This area of understanding legislation is where Eurovent ME is really able to add value. “I am delighted to be appointed to the board… but with this comes a responsibility that I take very seriously.
